Are Injustice and Rivals - The Flash vs. Reverse-Flash compatible with other DC DBG releases?

While The Flash vs Reverse-Flash uses the Rivals game mode, many of the main deck cards and some of the oversized cards can be used in the standard mode of play. Most cards from other DC DBG releases can also be mixed into the Rivals main deck. The sets that are 100% compatible are Batman vs. Joker, Green Lantern vs. Sinestro, and Confrontations, all of which also use the Rivals game mode.

Injustice uses the Brawl game mode, new to the DC DBG family. Many of the main deck cards and some of the oversized cards can be used in the standard mode of play. Most main deck and oversized cards from other DC DBG releases can also be used in Brawl mode.

Are there any differences between the Super-Villains Edition of the Multiverse Box and the Super Heroes Edition of the Multiverse Box?

The only difference is the cover; the Super-Villains Edition has a Kickstarter Exclusive cover by Omar Francia. Both will come with the same contents and same applicable stretch goals, including some Kickstarter Exclusive ones.

How are the new Multiverse Boxes different from the old Multiverse Box?

First of all, they are much larger, each measuring 13” x 13.” Addressing fan comments, we have added a fourth row that is wider to fit oversized cards. We are also working hard to make sure sleeved cards fit comfortably this time. In addition, the covers are new, the boxes will be made from sturdier material (to account for the added weight). The dividers that came with the old Multiverse Box will be included once again, with some slight adjustments and one addition (a divider for standard sized Super Heroes and Super-Villains), and the Multiverse Crossover Pack is the same except for some minor updates. There may be additional components that are unlocked via stretch goals…

Do the Multiverse Editions of DC DBG base sets contain new cards?

No, they contain exactly the same cards that come with the regular editions (minus any first-printing Promo Cards). There is no additional content. Each Multiverse Edition has everything in the regular edition except the box and the rulebook (which is available as a PDF or, if you want physical rulebooks, as an add-on with all six Multiverse Edition rulebooks included).

How will the Multiverse Editions of base games be packaged?

For each Multiverse Edition, game cards will be shrink-wrapped into several piles. These cards (along with any tokens or tiles) will be placed in a clear plastic baggie.

How do I find out how much shipping will be?

Though we don’t have exact shipping rates yet, the shipping chart on the Campaign page breaks down approximately how much each tier will cost to ship. These rates are best estimates. Final shipping rates could very well be higher or lower depending on factors out of our control. Shortly after the campaign, you will be invited to complete a BackerKit survey, which involves filling out your shipping information and paying for shipping.

Why is shipping so expensive?

Due to supply chain issues, the pandemic, and the related issues at ports, shipping rates have gone through the roof. Most shippers have added surcharges to their rates. We are doing our best to charge you only what it costs you to ship your items.

Do I have to pay VAT?

If we import your rewards into the UK and EU, we will have to pay a VAT (value-added tax) based on the value of the product (i.e., the sales price). The percentage is based on the specific country we are importing to and will be charged as a tax when checking out in BackerKit’s pledge manager.

Will there be a pledge manager/survey? Do I need to complete it?

Yes, if you pledge, a short time after the campaign you will be invited to a survey powered by Backerkit that will alow you to provide your shipping information, choose and pay for add-ons, and pay for shipping. You NEED to complete your survey; otherwise, we won’t even have an address to ship your rewards.

Last updated: April 12, 2022 10:04

Can I get multiple copies of the different rewards?

Yes, after the campaign there will be a pledge manager powered by BackerKit. You’ll have the opportunity to add multiple copies of Injustice, Rivals, both Multiverse Boxes, the Injustice Playmat, six “Multiverse Editions” of DC Deck-Building Game base games, and the pack of 6 DC Deck-Building Game rulebooks. You will be able to choose add-ons after the campaign via BackerKit. Please note: The Super-Villains Playmat is exclusively available as part of some of the reward tiers.

How do I order the add-ons shown on the Kickstarter page?

After the campaign, there will be a pledge manager. You’ll be able to sign in via BackerKit and order any number of add-ons. You are welcome to add additional funds to your pledge in Kickstarter, which will apply toward add-ons in the pledge manager.

Will the games be available in other languages?

The games being offered on Kickstarter are English only. However, we are exploring localization into other languages.

If I sleeve my cards, will the cards and other components fit in the boxes?

Yes! We are optimizing the boxes for Injustice and Rivals — The Flash vs. Reverse-Flash to fit sleeved cards. As for both editions of the Multiverse Box, they were created with sleeved standard size and sleeved oversized cards in mind.

I’m a retailer. Will I get all the stretch goals if I pledge for either Retailer Tier?

Yes! Pledging during the campaign is the only way to get the various Kickstarter Exclusives, including stretch goals.

Last updated: April 12, 2022 10:07

Can non-retailers pledge for either Retailer Tier?

No, the Retailer Tiers are strictly for retailers for brick-and-mortar locations. We want to support the local hobby stores that are the backbone of our industry. Game groups and online-only retailers do not qualify for this tier. We will verify retailers after the campaign and will cancel Retailer Tier pledges that are made by non-retailers.

Last updated: April 12, 2022 10:07

I’m a retailer who is located in a country that qualifies as ROW (Rest of World). Why can’t I pledge for the Retailer 2 Tier?

Given the huge variation in shipping rates to different regions that qualify for ROW for a shipment of this size, we did not feel comfortable offering this tier to ROW retailers.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
